The Scheme involved creating a new permanent exhibition along with a series of temporary exhibition displays introduced by a interactive orientation space. 

The exhibition prepares the visitor for a tour of the 26 acre open museum site. 

It assists them to relate to the individual buildings and themes of unique aspects of the black country story.
