Housed in Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s Grade 1 listed Temple Meads station Building this Social History Museum charters the fascinating and often controversial story of the British Empire and commonwealth in an analytical and non-jingoistic way.

Culminating  in displays about the experiences of immigrants from these areas who are part of a multi cultural society.

The object rich exhibition features dramatic vistas and the use of conventional exhibition techniques alongside, interactives, audio visual, sculptural and multi media display
