Where chocolate comes to life!
Created initially to service 130,000 visitors a year Cadbury World became an unmitigated success attracting over 500,000 visitors in its first year with regular return visit chocoholics.
Travelling back 1000 years in time to the Mayan Rainforest in Mexico you walk through the jungle and discover how the cocoa tree was central to the Mayan culture. Visit the Aztec Emperor Montezuma whose favourite drink was chocolate and the man who was responsible for bringing cocoa beans back to Europe.
Discover the cocoa beans journey as it crossed the ocean on a Spanish galleon ending up as the drink of choice in high society.
Move through time to explore Bournville founded by Richard and George Cadbury. Move through the interactive exhibition and design your own village.
Visit the replica of Bull Street where John Cadbury opened his first shop and visit the world’s biggest Cadbury Shop where you can treat yourself to a series of unique handmade chocolate products.
Members within the Idess CD team were involved in creating the experience.
