The Brockhole Education Centre situated at Windermere delivers an informative experience relating the visitor to the environment of the Lake District.  With the aim of raising public awareness to expand the enjoyment of exploring the areas facilities and leisure offer.

Containing models and interactives supported by interpretative graphic information the visitor is educated to understand how the Lake District was formed and its key features of interest in the surrounding area.  The centre explains how the environment is managed today and the nature and diversity of wildlife that it supports, enabling the visitor to get involved in current conservation programmes.
