Sustainable – Rubbers
Rubber Sheet
Produced by Smile Plastics, rubber sheet is made from 100% shredded Wellington boots!
The nature of the beast is that it is intensely bright and colourful and is used in floor coverings, mats, rugs and wall hangings.
Rubber/Plastic Lumber
Made from random recycled non-specific rubbers and plastics, imitation timbers are available in a variety of different colours and sizes.
The material is durable, low maintenance and is a viable substitute for outdoor decking solutions.
Natural Rubber
A range of rubbers have been developed which, when dried naturally, provide a low energy/low toxicity material, during and after production.
The rubber is manufactured in 3mm sheets and layered to form solid shapes and details.
The rubber is also formed by using ‘tapping’ techniques which are sustainable to ensure the longevity of forestry and the industries that it supports.
Rubber Embossed Matting
Rubber matting is made from recycled car tyres. Originally developed as safety flooring, it is available in a range of colour options, sheet sizes and thicknesses. It is possible to introduce other materials to deliver a bespoke effect.
Granite / Marble / Slate These are all natural materials which are quarried in the UK and provide options to designers in a range of sizes and thicknesses.
